Turn Pressure — dive gas planner
Last updated: 17 August 2026
Turn Pressure collects nothing. This document exists because Apple requires every app to have one (App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(i)), not because there is much to disclose.
What is collected
Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party code of any kind in this app.
Network access
The app makes no network requests. It contains no networking code at all. Nothing you enter can leave your device, because there is no mechanism by which it could.
What is stored, and where
- Your divers and their air numbers — the people you plan for, the breathing rates you have entered or worked out from your own dives, and the dates those figures were recorded.
- Your saved briefs — the depth, gas strategy, ascent profile and conditions for dives you do often, under whatever names you gave them.
- Your last setup — the cylinder, mix and starting pressure you last planned with, so the app opens where you left it.
- Your settings — units, conservatism and condition multipliers.
All of it is written to a single file inside the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is included in your device backup, so restoring a new phone brings it back. If you back your phone up to iCloud, Apple's backup includes this file — that is between you and Apple, and it is how your data follows you to a new device. Nothing is sent to us, because there is no "us" to send it to.
Deleting it
Settings › Start fresh clears everything the app has stored and returns it to a first launch. Deleting the app removes the file with it. Neither leaves a copy anywhere, because no copy was ever made.
Children
The app is a dive planning tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version appears here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new disclosure.
