Weights Check — diver weighting library

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Weights Check collects nothing. This document exists because Apple requires every app to have one (App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(i)), not because there is much to disclose.

What is collected

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party code of any kind in this app.

Network access

The app makes no network requests. It contains no networking code at all. Nothing you enter can leave your device, because there is no mechanism by which it could.

What is stored, and where

All of it is written inside the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is included in your device backup, so restoring a new phone brings it back. If you back your phone up to iCloud, Apple's backup includes it — that is between you and Apple, and it is how your data follows you to a new device.

Deleting it

Anything you delete in the app waits in Settings › Recently deleted until you clear it out yourself. Nothing empties itself on a timer: restore an item from there, delete one for good, or empty the whole section in one action. Deleting the app removes everything it stored with it. The one copy that outlives that is the one inside your own device backup: it is Apple's, held under your account, and deleting the app does not reach into it. Nothing is ever sent to us either way, because there is no "us" to send it to.

Children

The app is a dive record-keeping tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version appears here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new disclosure.
